My original description: "Ethan is very soft-hearted and bears fragile feelings (which means they are hurt extremely easily). He loves helping people and absolutely adores being around others, despite being isolated from everyone but Canada. Of course, this means he and Canada are on very good terms and get along fairly well. He prefers being called by his human name because he loves the name. He is the largest of the American states and is frequently teased by the others for it. He is also a disputed territory, as Russia wants him back and America won't give him up. This often causes poor Ethan to get stuck between disputes between the two nations, which normally results in him having a meltdown and bawling his eyes out while begging the two to stop. However, if he is put in any kind of danger or if any of his family members are in danger, he will go into a Russia-like mode and will threaten the offender until they leave or apologize. Thus, many people fear him and either treat him with utmost respect, ignore him, or treat him like they do Russia. He hates being treated like Russia. And, since he was originally owned by Russia, he does respect the nation despite fearing him to the point of avoiding him as much as possible. He loves America like a father or older brother and would do anything for him. He is the tallest of the states, but the second youngest. His only younger sibling is Hawaii, who is also his closest friend. His close friends include Kentucky, Arizona, Missouri, and Michigan. He always adds the sound 'eta~' to the end of his sentences, though no meaning to the word is known. Also, when he's sad, mad, or excited, he tends to babble in Russian or French."
My snapped version: He's basically the same as he was before, except much more fragile. He snaps at the slightest provocation and once he snaps, it takes a while to get him out of it. He's developed multiple personalities over the course of his life, partially because of Russia and partially because of how lonely he was in everyday life during his time with America. He has three so far-- his regular personality (shy, withdrawn, polite, and very happy); his snapped personality (basically, think Russia when he gets too handy with his crowbar. He giggles and smiles all the time, even when he's hurting someone.); and there's his threatening but nonviolent personality (same as snapped personality, but without the violence. He gives out plenty of threats, though.). He hates being around people because of how terrified he is of hurting someone, but he'll still talk to people as long as there's someone around to help him keep a grip on himself. He's scared of being abandoned, so when he gets close to someone, he tends to get very defensive and "I'll kill you if you leave me". But at the same time, he's scared of himself when he's like that and so distances himself from people, hoping they'll leave him alone. He does have the ability to disappear, thanks to the amount of time he spends around Canada, and will frequently use that ability to get out of social situations so he doesn't risk snapping. He's also developed mild schizophrenia and has a fourth personality resulting from this, a separate personality that doesn't even act like him anymore. The person he hallucinates and the person who is represented in his fourth personality is Ian Harris, his much more outspoken, hot-headed younger brother. In reality, Ian never existed. Ethan just started imagining that he had a brother that he could share secrets with, and things progressed from there. Ian takes over whenever Ethan feels he can't deal with what's going on and will use his much more suave, French-influenced style of speaking/seduction to get out of bad situations. Ian does not use the emphatic "eta~" Ethan uses. Ian's also Ethan's link to sanity, kind of the voice in his mind that helps him stay away from doing stupid things.

-He loves to snowboard. It doesn't matter whether he's snapped or not, he loves to snowboard.
-He's a pushover ouo;; You can literally convince him to do ANYTHING.
-He's very conscious about his weight.
-His scarf is his comfort blanket. Take it from him and he'll have a nervous breakdown.
-He's terrified of Russia.
-He sees Canako/Canada as siblings most of the time, but he sees some as more parental figures.
-He was yandere before he snapped and yandere/yangire after.
-He stutters. A lot.
-He acts like he's 13 or 14 instead of 18 most of the time. |D This goes by interests, personality, and generally just how he acts.
-He loves his state siblings, even if most think of him as a Russian Commie bastard most of the time.
-He has a pet cat named Sparky and a small polar bear named Jin; Sparky is female and Jin is male.
-The little hairflip on the side of his head, right above where his hair parts, is his e-zone. Both little locks. |D
-He hates talking about Russia and his experiences as part of the Soviet Union/Russia.
-He blushes very, very easily.
-When he gets scared, he loses his emphatic "eta~".
-He carries a crowbar under his coat, though he doesn't have it when he's in a straitjacket.
-He loves pretty things, be they lights or paintings or people.
-He can't stand the sight of blood and will pass out if his Ethan personality sees it.
-He does possess the ability to be very seductive, although he rarely utilizes the ability.

-He never mistakes Canada for America, nor does he forget who Canada is. This is because of how near to each other they live and how often Ethan is around Canada.
